Scialoja presiding. The Council’s consideration of the Hun-garian-Rumanian dispute, regarding the land laws, was again postponed until the resumption of direct negotiations between the two Governments, M. Scialoja expressing the hope that the matter would be settled without further consideration by the Council. Sir Austen Chamberlain said that Britain would submit to the League the full text of the alliance treaty of 1927 between Britain and Iraq, as soon as negrtiations fog the revision of the financial and military agreements were completed. “When the text is examined,” he added, “1 am confident that the British delegates will be able to reassure the regarding any matter which may give rise to misgivings.' '
