At the end of the above game considerable interest was taken in the handicap pairs game between G. Pirie and Bissell against G. Sweetanple and T .eversedge. G. Pirie and Bissell both plowed well, but gave un the game with two heads to go when the score was 19 to 5 against them. As both pairs have now one loss another game will have to be played. KIA TOA AT THE PORT. At the Port green four rinks from Kia Toa were in attendance, and had the satisfaction of making the home team give their best, and while the visitors lost on the aggregate score, they succeeded in winning two out of the four rinks. At the luncheon adjournment Port totalled 39 tTon's 34, and the final figures showed a margin of seven points in favour of the home players. Detailed scores arc -* follow.
