WELLINGTON MEETING. MATE O’ MINE’S CUP. Wellington, Jan. 19. The Wellington Trotting Club’s gold cup meeting was held to-day in line weather. There was a huge attendance. The tote handled £29,932 10/- against £27,479 10/- last year. W. J. Tomkinson, the Christchurch trainer, put up a great performance in winning half the events on the programme. Late results:— N.Z.
