ELEVEN DEATHS REPORTED. (United Pres» Association—By CableCopyright.] (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) New York, Jan. 18. News from St. Louis states that a tornado originated in Indiana to-day. turning northward towards Wisconsin. By latest reports four persons are killed, but the damage has not been determined. Telegraph communications with the stricken area are demoralised. First reports indicated the possibility of a higher death roll and more extensive damage. The death toll due to the tornado is now eleven. High winds over a area demolished homes and schools. The majority of the dead are children. A sudden rise in the temperature after a cold period caused Torrential rains in Indiana.
