LATE SPORTING

GOLF AT WAIOHIKI FINALS PLAYED TO-DAY. THIS MORNING’S ROUNDS. The weather was fine for the finals of the Napier Golf Club's tournament this morning, when the first 18 holes were played. There was a 'large crowd out to follow the matches. The results of the morning rounds are as follow:— CHAMPIONSHIP. H. B. Lusk, at the end of the 18th hole was 7 up on C. S. Geddis. Both men were playing excellent golf. Lusk’s tally was 73, being 4 up on bogey from plus 1. Geddis was 1 up on bogey. WAIOHIKI HANDICAP. R. W. Dalgleish beat J. N. Lowry, 7 up and 5 to play. BOGEY HANDICAP. H. B. Lusk, 4 up. R. W. Dalgleish, 2 up. H. Marti, 2 up. H. H. Wylie, 2 up. C. S. Geddis, 1 up. L. Balfour, all square. L, Gorton, all square. A. A. Sinclair, all square. R. D.
