SUPPORT FOR RECOMMENDATIONS.

H.B. A. & P. SOCIETY’S RESOLUTION.

“That this Society circularise all agricultural and pastoral societies in the Dominion asking them to support the following resolution passed at the meeting of the Hawke’s Bay A. and P Society:—'That the joint recommendations unanimously adopted by the representatives of both the primary and secondary industries at the recent industrial conference be given effect to and the I. C. and A. Act amended accordingly; that each Society join in nrging the Prime Minister to give the force of law to th" recommendations.’ ” The above resolution was carried unanimously bv the members of the H.B. A. and P. Society to-day. Mr. A. V. S. Reed, in bringing the resolution forward, stated that the recommendations made by the representatives of the primary and secondary industries at the recent conference held in Wellington would have a most important bearing on the whole industries of New Zealand, and he would like to see them given effect to. Mr. N. Beamish, in seconding the motion, stated that the question was of the utmost importance to the people of the Dominion, more especi. ally to the farming community.
