FRIENDLY GAMES. o'AIRERE AT THE PORT. Despite the fact that heavy rain had fallen on Friday the Port Ahuriri Club’s green dried up sufficiently to allow bowlers to indulge in the pursuit of kitty. The Port Club were at home to the Wairere Club on Saturday, and one and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Following are the scores, Wairere names being mentioned first:— McLean, Black, R, V. The following games were played at the Napier Club’s green on Saturday afternoon:— McMurray, Fisher, Brpwnette, Lydford, 17; Saunders, Morp, Wright, Belcher, 12.
