PLAY ON H.B. GREENS SATURDAY’S RESULTS. BEECHAM CUP. On Saturday the Port Ahuriri and Napier Clubs met in a match for the Beecham Gold Cup, Napier being the challengers. The Port lost after a keenly contested match. The president of the Port Club, Mr H. Mayo, in asking Mr S. Harris to accept the cup on behalf of the Napier Club, congratulated the Napier members on winning the cup but also assured him that when the Port issued n challenge for it again it would be sure to come home again.
