He is Ceorge Pilgrim Holford, and there are estates in England and Australia to which he is*entitled, if he could be found. “It was a little over 10 years ago that Mr. Holford first come into prominence in Ehgland,” states the “Daily Mail.” “He was then the principal actor in litigation which proved him to be the owner of estate in England valued at over £7OOO. “Whilst the court proceedings were being taken, Mr. Holford was terrified insane and was admitted to an asylum. After being there a few months only, he escaped, and one of the attendants was seriously injured at the time. Holford went to his solicitors, and, it is alleged, brandishing a revolver, demanded money.” “He was disturbed, whilst threatening the senior partner, and 'as chased from the building by one of the clerks. He disappeared, and, so far as is known, he had very little money when he left the country. “He was next heard of in Australia, where, it is stated; he had become the owner of a station outside Sydney. “After being in control of this property fo ra short time he once again disappeared, and has not been hea-d of since. “His legal representatives are trying to trace him. In the event of this search failing action will be taken to obtain an order presuming his death, ’so that the estates can be dealt with.”
