PERSONAL NOTES.

Mrs Blathwayt, of Takapau, leaves this week for Nelson, to attend there Miss Beth Paterson’s wedding, who is shortly to be married to Mr. E. Gilmour, of Elsthorpe.

Miss Una Loudon, of Napier, is staying in Morere on a visit. Miss Una James, of Masterton, is staying in Napier with friends.

Mrs. Fannin, of Hastings, has returned from a brief visit to Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Fraser, of Gisborne, are visitors to Napier. Miss Large, of Napier, is on a holiday in Auckland.

Mrs. Boxer is at present staying with friends in Hastings.

Mrs. Norman Beatson, who has been for a holiday in Auckland with Mr. and Mrs. Newbigen, has left Hastings on her return to her home in Kawhia. Major T. J. C. and Mrs. Warren, of “Penlee,” Pukehou, are spending a month’s holiday in Australia.

Mr. John Kelsey, who is now residing in Havelock North, has been promoted to Christchurch, and leaves next month for that town. Mr. Kelsey wi|l be missed very much among amateur actors here, for he was always ready to help, and he capably handled leading parts.
