BASKETBALL.
ROACH CUP. A basketball team from the. Hastings High School journeyed to Napier yesterday and played the Napier Girls' High School for the Reach Cup. The game was characterised by fast plav and good passing by both teams, little difference being noticeable in the performance of either side. Hastings won by 29 points_te 28, and will hold the cup for tne year. Another match was played between the same schools’ B teams, Napier scoring a runaway victory by 5.3 points to 10.
