GREEK PLOT
TO RESTORE MONARCHY MILITARY AND CIVILIANS ARRESTED. (Received 1. 1.20 p.m.) London, Sept. 30. “The Times’ ’’ Athens correspon. dent says that those arrested in connection with Pangolos' plot consist of eight officers and four civilians, including General Tseroulis. former Minister of War. Part of the aim or the conspiracy was the restoration of the monarchv and it is reported that Prince Nicholas was proposed to be made King. Pangalistic activities are. generally. not supported bv either the army or the country.—(“Times” cable.) An overnight cable from Athens reported that Pangalos’ son has been arrested and warrants issued against Madame Pangalos and a number of officers, as a result of an inquiry into the latest plot by supporters of the ex-dictator, who are alleged to have planned to begin a reign of terror by assassinating leading politicians.
