TRADE TREATY
CANADA AND AUSTRALIA CHANGES NOT CONTEMPLATED. (Received 30, 10.55 a.m.) Ottawa, Sept 29. Speaking at Edmonton, Alberta, the Hon. Jas. A. Robb announced that changes in the trade arrangements between Canada and Australia were not contemplated. Replying to the suggestions that the anti-dumping law against Aus-, ralian butter may be lifted, he reiterated that the arrangement was very advantageous to Canada and feared that if the attacks continued Australia might terminate the treaty. —(A and N.Z.)
