CADET & TERRITORIAL SHOOT ANNUAL RIFLE MEETING. OF 7A AREA. The annual 7A Area rifle meeting was commenced at Awatoto on .the 17 th inst. and completed at Roy’s Hill on Saturday, 24th inst. The entries were very satisfactory and the standard of shooting excellent. ’ The conditions at Awatoto were everything that could be desired, but at Roy's Hill the marksmen had to contend with a tricky wind. The number of teams that entered for the Vickers machine gun and Lewis gun matches this year was easilv a record, and the standard of shooting compared very favourably with that at the Dominion Army rifle meeting at Trentham.
