OLD ACE & INVALID. COMMON WEALTH FIG URES. (Received 29, 12.20 p.m.) Melbourne, Sept. 29. Dr. Earl Page, the Treasurer, stated that the amount paid in old age and invalid pensions fo rthe past year was £9,115,000 to 186,000 pensioners. The estimated cost for the current year was £9,400,000.
