WHEAT PLENTIFUL
LOW PRICED ARGENTINE. WITH CANADIAN. (Received 28, 9.40 a.m.) Vancouver, Sept. 27. For the first time Argentine corn is passing through elevators at Owen Sound, Ontario, for distribution in Eastern Canada. Forty thousand bushels have arrived, The low price of South American corn ■ compared with that grown in the United States and Canada is the cause of importation despite the long carriage.—(A. and N.Z.)
