ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER
CHARGE AGAINST WELLKNOWN JOCKEY REMANDED ON BAIL OF £2OOO (Per Press Association). Auckland, Sept. 28. W. S. Bagby was before the Police Court charged with manslaughter, arising from the death of Mrs Tlizabeth Short, who was knocked down by a motor car on Mondir evening. The accused was remanded on bail of £2OOO. The police have taken possession of his car.
