TWO MEN KILLED
ANOTHER SERIOUSLY INJURED A PREMATURE EXPLOSION. AT BELIEF WORKS NEAR NELSON. (Per Press Association). Nelson, Sept. 28. A premature explosion on the relief works at Hope Junction resulted in the death of two men and serious injury to a third. Those killed are:— E. F. Rotheram (next of kin, C. E. Rotheram, 178 Taranaki street, Wellington). Denis Phillipa, (mother, Mrs F- Phillipa M Nottingham street, Karori). The injured man who was brought to hospital in Nelson is George P. Gillespie, whose mother lives at Catline River.
