FRUIT INDUSTRY.
EXPORT of apples. SATISFACTORY RESULTS. Wellington, July 14. Mr T. C. Brash, acting-chairman of the New Zealand Fruit Control Board, yesterday expressed satisfaction with the results- being obtained in connection with the export of apples during the present season. A few more seasons like the present, with the same average price obtained for the fruit sold in Groat Britain, would he said, set the fruit industry in New Zealand clearly on its feet.
