The N.Z. Shipping Company’s steamer Remuera will depart from Auckland to-morrow. The mental equipment of girls entering commercial offices as stenographers was commented upon by member of the Hamilton Technical School Beard. One member stated that the average girl entering a commercial office seemed strangely unfamiliar with ordinary technical terms when tn) ing down specifications in shorthand. The typed copies frequently required to be greatly corrected. The question was asked if, in the training of the girls for comemreial pursuits at Technical Schools, it was not possible to familiarise them with commercial terms. It was stated that text books of terms relating to the different trades were published, and these would be aobtained for the Hamilton school. HOW TO GET RID OF INDIGESTION.
