As a means of assisting new settlers and fostering Empire trade, the Lord Mayoi has issued a brochure appealing to the Mayors of the United Kingdom, especially those in towns having namesakes in the dominions, to institute a regular correspondence with the Mayors thereof; also to form committees to encourage migration Similarly, it is urged that Dominion towns should create welfare committees.
