FORCES AT SHANGHAI. NO FURTHER WITHDRAWALS. (Received 13, 11.5 a.m.) (British Official Wireless). London, July 12. With reference to the return to India from Shanghai of the troops of the Indian Brigade, the Minister for War stated in the House of Commons to-day that no further withdrawal of the British forces from Shanghai was contemplated at present. Since some increase in sickness unfortunately seemed likely during the hot weather,, authority had been given for one battalion at a time to proceed to Wei-hai-wea while it continued.
