HAVELOCK NORTH.

A large party is being organised for to-morrow and Friday to search for the body of Mr Timmo. who was drowned in the Tuki Tuki. On Friday evenin'- next the Havelock North District School children will hold their annual dance in the Village Hall. The grand march will commence at 7.30. and the children will have the floor until 10.30. when the adults take charge. The varied costumes and dresses alwavs attract a crowd, and it is anticipated the hall will he packed. Supper will be provided in the Foresters’ Hall, and rhe children will sit class by class. Hie supper arrangements are. in excellent hands, and a happv time is anticipated by all. The shop of Mr Barlt rop. chemist, was broken into last night. Entrance was gained hv breaking in the back door. The police have the matter in hand.
