(Own Correspondent.) A return match between the Takapau and Mount Herbert Golf Ulubs was played on the Takapau links on Saturday when home players won 13 games to Mount Herbert’s 5, and three games were halved. The results were as under, Takapau players being mentioned first:—

A return football match between the Takapau and Waipukurau schoolboys was played at Takapau on Saturday when after a well contested game the winners (Waipukurau) ran out with a score of 6 points to 3.
