GREAT GATHERING AT WYTSCHAETE.
MEMORIAL TO FALLEN IRISH SOLDIERS.
(Received 23, 1.15 p.m.) Brussels, Aug. 22. The British Minister and the commercial attache of the Irish Free State in Brussels were present, and the King of the Belgians was represented, at an enormous gathering for the unveiling of a Celtic cross at Wytschaete in memory of 50.000 Irishmen who fell in the war.—(A and N.Z.)
