WEDDING.

KITTO W-NORRIS. The church of St. Michael and All Angels, Puketapu, was dressed in decorations, including a beautiful wedding bell, b v Rev. and Mrs. 'ieddis, last Wednesday evening, on the occasion of the marriage of Eva Ruin Norris, only daughter of Mrs. Norris, of Dartmoor. Puketapu, and the late Mr. G. Norris, to Allen Daniel Kittow, elder son of Mr» and Mrs. D. Kittow. Waipawa. Rev. R F. Geddes performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away bv Mr. C. E. Twist, Greenmeadows, presented a charming picture in a model frock of ivory georgette, over charmeuse handsomely embroidered in pearl sequins, finished at hem. with white swan’s down. The veil. kindi v ’-'nt hy an old friend, was of silk tulle, arranged on head with silvef roses and orange blossom, falling to form a long train, finished with silver roses and true lovers’ knots of silver ribbon. She wore mother-of-pearl shoes and she bore a bouquet of pink flowers.

Tho bridesmaids, Misses May Kittow, Grace Twist/ Doris Kittow and Amy Cuff, were exceedingly dainty in mauve beaded georgette, apricot beaded georgette. tomato beaded georgette, and Nile-green beaded georgette, respectively, and all wore French caps of silver tinsel, finished with posies to tone with frocks, and silver shoes. They each carried a lovely bouquet of autumn tints. Mr. Frank Tickner, Waipawa, discharged the duties of best man, and Mr. B. Norris (brother of the bride), Mr. S. Kittow (brother of the bridegroom), and Mr. L. Kittow (cousin of the bridegroom) acted as groomsmen.

A reception was held at Puketapu Hall, which was beautifully decorated with white flowers bv the friends ci the briue, and a large numtier of guests were entertained. The bridal pair sat under an exquisite welding bell, made by Mrs. Geddes, and a special feature was the wedding cake, made and given by Mrs. C. E. Twist. The bride’s mother received her guests in a handsome gown of black charmant. with panels of silver and Oriental trimming, and a Black panne hat. whilst the bridegroom’s other wore a becoming frock of navy fn»pe de chine, embroidered with sequins. A dance followed and the young couple received the hearty congratulations and good wishes of their many friends, which were ’wed when they left for their honeymoon, on a motor tour of the North Is'tnd. the bride wearing a fawn Kasha cloth, with golden-brown vest, finished with motifs of Oriental embroidery, and wearing a goldenbrown hat.
