FRANKLIN MEETING. CUP TO SPOONY. Pukekohe, March 27. The Franklin races were held to-day in fine but dull weather. The. totalisator handled £24,044. Tactician fell opposite the enclosure the first time round in file Cup and broke a leg and was destroyed. The rider, Cammick, was injured. At a subsequent inquiry Nixon, rider of Gala Day, was suspended for a fortnight for boring. Be was held responsible for the accident. J.
