Automatic Writing QUESTION OF AUTHORSHIP. NOVEL COPYRIGHT CASE. [By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.] (Received 29, 9.15 a.m.) London, March 28. Spiritualists crowded the Chancery Court in which Mr. Justice Eve heard a motion raising a novel point of copyright ot a spirit communicatiou. Miss Cumins, daughter of a court physician, described an an automatic medium, sought to restrain Biigh Bond, n, psychic worker of woria-wiUe reputation, from publishing the •■Chronicle of Cieophas.** Both claimed the authorship ot the script, which is purported to be a continuation of the acts of the* apostles. Miss Oumins claimed that she produced the chronicle in a trance. Bond asserts his hand rested on Muss Cumins’s, therefore the chronicle was the result of his psychic co-operation. Counsel explained that the first urticl© was an interesting addition to the story of Ananias, and Sapphira. Mr. Justice Eve asked whether the automatic writing was English or Greek, and was informed that the chapter concerning Ananias was in Cumins’s handwriting. The case was adjourned.—(Sydney “Sun’’ cable.)
