MOTOR CAR AND GOLF COURSE. Lond°n, Mar. 25. At the Free Church assmbly at Llandrindodwells, discussing tho church and morals, the Rev Mr GriffithsJones, of Bradford, said the motor car and the golf course were the greatest enemies of the Christian Church. I know people who deliberately say: ‘ For me it’s a motor car or a baby. ’’ ’ he said. “Only too often the vote goes for the motor car.”—(A. and N.Z.)
