CAPTAIN REILLY’S (Received 21. 9.10 a.m.) London, Dee. 20. The “Sunday News,” in reference to Captain Reilly, says Reilly knew his description had been broadcasted and a price put on his head, yet he consulted representatives of the Tsarist provi sional government in Paris and agreed to go aong the Russian peasants and ascertain how they were affected towards the old regime. He went as far as the village of Allekule, and was working in the fields in disguise when political police arrived. They fired and killed him whore he stood.—(A. mid N.Z.)
