(To the Editor.) gi r .r c above, I wonder if these men who sit in high places will bring for. ward any death or even sickness through eating apples? I would guaran tec to eat a dozen apples a day, right off the trees, skin and all. and still be none the worse for it. Do the health authorities of London think orchardists like spraying and spending a small fortue on sprays'? Every true orchardist’s aim is to put clean fruit into the market and he must spray again and again regardless of expense, to do this. Perhkos our orchard instructor rvould publish a spraying table to let the general public see what pests the orcuardist is up against. i Orcharding is a pretty heartbreaking «fflne at the best of times without idiotic people putting imaginary obstacles in the way.
