YET ANOTHER STRIKE.

BACON WORKS HELD UP. (Received 25. 10.5 a.m.) Melbourne, Nov. 25. The employees of two big bacon factories at Preston and Ballarat respectively struck following the employers’ refusal to grant their demand for a ten per cent, increase in wages. The strike has thrown the industry into chaos, as other employers feel unsafe to make forward arrangements. Employees, accordingly, throughout the industry have been given fourteen days’ notice of dismissal.
