MONT H L y’mEETI NG. The monthly meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power H ard was held in Napier to-day. Present: Messrs I. B. Anurew Chairman). R. M . Waterhouse, T. E. Crosse, J. Elis. ]]. Hill, 1 W. Harvey. The Taradale Town Board advised that it was pi epared to ass.st the Power Board in its loan campaign and would prep re the roll. Roc •. I. It was decided to make applii ations in various financial quarters for the raising of the £300.600 loan. The chairman reported that several meetings had been held in various country districts and in every case the settlers had shown great enthusiasm concerning the advent of ehetricity and the autlook regarding a sale p s<age for the loan were most encou. aging. The board decided to go into committee to consider matters affecting offi e accommodation. In connection with the duplication of lines—Bun’nythorpc-Woodyi.le, the engineer 11 ted that as so< n as the loan was carried they would have a good case to nut to the Government. The wa s 11ec i? ss a to ensure a continuity of supply.
