Sir.—As there seems to bo some uncertainty m the minds of local ro>idents as to the value of tho “merit” cards awarded at Un* Palmerston North Show, perhaps you will qulili’di ihe following-“A merit card is ihe highest award the judge gives in ihe “primary schools section” and carries with it a monetary prize of from 2/6 to 5 -.
