MEXICO AND BRITAIN.
NO ENMITY. Washington, Oct. 31. General Plutarco Lalies, Presidentelect of Mexico, visiting here, was received by President Coolidge and Y.r. C. E. Hughes. General Calles informed pressmen that there was no enmity between Britain and Mexico. What unpleatantness had occurred was due to the dishonesty, falsehood and misrepresentation of one of Britain’s representatives in Mexico. He said this did not refer to Mr Cummins.— (Reuter).
