CHURCH NOTICES.

A bright Gospel service is advertised for Stortford Mission Hall to-morrow. A solo will b© rendered by Mr. Sturm, and an address given by Mr. Martin. The Hastings Baptist Sunday School anniversary service will take place tomorrow (Sunday). The morning (11 a.m.) and afternoon (3 p.m.) services Will be conducted by the Rev. Gardiner Miller, of Napier, and at 7 p.m. there wil bo a choir of 140 voices and orchestra. An address will be given in the Orang© Hall. Lyndon road, on Sunday night at 7 o’clock upon “Resurrection and Judgment to Come,” when the. teaching of tho Scriptures upon these' subjects will be advanced, “Elijah” will bo the Rev. Fred Copeland’s subject at Wesley Church tomorrow evening, when special music l from tho oratorio .will be rendered. The morning topic will be “The Ingenuity of Love.” Services will also be held at Clive Grange at 2 p.m. Manga teretere at 3 p.m.. and Pakowhai at 7 p.m. By request of Rev. P, Ramsay in St. Andrew’s Chnrch will preach on the great musical composer Mendelssohn. At the morning service the sermon shall deal with the theme of the great composition “Elijah.” in the evening “The Man, His Gifts, and Message.” Suitable music will be sung at both services.
