A CLERK’S DEFALCATIONS
Hamilton, March 13. In the Supreme Court John Petei Olsen, a law clerk, pleaded guilty to misappropriation of lands oi his employers, Messrs. McDiarmid. Meanami Gray, solicitors. The total was £2288. The evidence showed that the money, paid in by clients was misappropriated by accused, the misappropriations extending over live years. Accused was sentenced to four years’ reformative treatment.
