NO DAIRY FARMERS’ TICKET. To Awamutu, Nov. It). A conference of the Dairy Farmers’ Union to-day, at which delegates were present from Wairarapa, Manawatu. Waikato and Thames Valley, unanimously resolved by way of a recommendation to the Dominion executive of the Union that the Union should not nominate a ticket for the Dairy Control Board election, but await the closing of nominations, when a recommendation could be made to members. A subsequent meeting of the executive decided accordingly. Members of the executive will communicate their view by telegraph with the president and the result will be handed on to the press immediately for the information of members. . NORTH ISLAND NOMINATIONS. Carterton, Nov. 17. A representative meeting of South Wairarapa co-operative 4airy companies was held at Martinborough yesterday. The companies represented were Featherston, Greytoyn, Otararia, Tawaha, Lake View, Pirinoa, Bidwell and Lower Valley. It was decided to nominate the following for the Dairy Control Board; Messrs K. Dalyrimple (Bulls), H. D. Forsyth (Eltham,) W. Goodfellow (Hamilton) W. Grounds (Hokianga), W. A. Irons (Martinborough), and W. C- Motion (Waiuku).
