WOOL SALES.
NORTH ISLAND SERIES. WELLINGTON CATALOGUE FOR TUESDAY. (Own Correspondent.) Welington, Novemberl 17. Th© wool selling season of 1923-24 will be opened in the North Island at Wellington on Tuesday, when approximately 12,896 bales will b© catalogued. Tlie quantities to be offered by the several brokers and the order of selling are as follows:—Wairarapa Farmers. 1181 bales; N.Z. Loan and Mercantile, 692; Dalgety and Co., 2600; N.Z.F. Distributing C.. 1860; Levin and Co., 3500; Murray. Roberts and Co., 1823; Canterbury Farmers. 240; Abraham and Williams and Wright, Stephenson and Co. (in conjunction), 1000; total, 12,896. The Canterbury Farmers is a new firm added to th© list of selling brokers, but as Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. and Messrs Abraham and Williams will sell in conjunction, there will still b© eight catalogues, as was the case last year. The sale will begin at 9 a.m. in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall.
