The principal increases in imports were:—Animals for food £2,563,713, other non-dutiable food and drink £2,606,720, and raw cotton £4,643,348: in exports, food and drink £1,058,803, coal £2,117,236. iron and* steel £2,192,o'6B and cotton yarns manufactures £1.308,159. w , The decreases in imports were : Wool £1,721,409; in exports, vehicles £l,999 258 —(A. and N.Z.)
