ANATOMY DEPARTMENT OPENED
Melbourne, November 13,
Sir William Mac Ewan opened the new anatomy department at 'the University in the presence of the Medical Congress delegates. The building is designed to accommodate 600 students, and cost £70,000. Lt is a gift, to the State Government. At a subsequent reception to delegates Dr. G. A. Syme, president of the Congress, delivered an address on the ravages of disease, and the urgent necessity for effective research work to combat it.
