GOLD TEETH IN TURKEY.
A MAHOMMEDAN DISPENSATION. Constantinople, July 22. The Angora Minister of Religious Affairs has published a decree permitting the faithful to wear gold teeth. 'Hie Mohammedan faith forbids the carrying of any luxurious ornaments, except a silver ring, the value of which must not exceed the price of a winding sheet. The prices of the two articles were practically identical in Mahommed’s time.—(A. and N.Z.)
