Trotting Stock

LATE MR. B. SHADBOLT’S SALE. GOOD PRIOESIIEALISED. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., held a highly satisfactory sale yesterday at Haumoana of the late Mr. B. Shadbolt’s high-class trotting and pacing horses, brood mares, and yearlings, and sulkies, gear, harness, etc. There was a large attendance of buyers from all over the Dominion and Australia was also well represented the bay gelding Reindeer and the bay mares Muriel Starr and Miss Moore going there. The best price of the day was 800 guineas, for the champion. Native King, bought by Mr. P. Shadbolt. Competition was keen throughout, and the prices realised are considered very satisfactory.
