Campbell in reply to an inquiry made by him after the last meeting of the County Council. He also states that Mangahao power may bo arranged for early, and that it will probably go as far us Napier. At to-day’s meeting of the County Council, Mr Campbell said that the general impression was that Mangahao power would be available at the eud of the present financial year, ami that it had been decided to bring the power to Dannevirke. They would bring it -as far as it would pay them, and it was possible that it would come to Napier. The Council decided to write to the Minister for definite information regarding a supply of electricity.
