BOXING.

MONDAY’S BIG TOURNAMENT. All details are arranged for the Boxing Tournament to be hold iu the Municipal Theatre, Napier, on Monday next. Pa ill Demsky and Stewart Smith, the principals for the big contest have completed their training and both are very confident. This is going to be the best contest yet staged in Napier, for both Denisky and Smith are vigorous hard hitting boxers, and the sporting public loves to see the battle rage from gong to gong

The amateurs report themselves as fit and ready to take the ring, and as there are four bouts arranged a variety is assured. Slogan tickets, “DempskySmith Contest, Monday, give me that pass" are still in circulation. A claim for one of these and secures a scat at the ring-side. Cars will leave Hastings Post Office at 7 p.m.
