Captain Craig ami Mr O’Connor took a similar vidw. Mr Pretyman, supporting the Bill, said the committee which inquired into the recent foot and mouth disease outbreak intended to recommend that imported cattle might ne marketed on ’ landing day, but must then be detained for six days. The rejection motion was defeated by 379 votes to 27.
