INCOME TAX.
CHARGE OF MAKING FALSE RETURNS.
Christchurch, Nov. 28. C. W. Hervey, accountant aud secretary and a member of the City Council, was charged, on the information of th© Commissioner of Taxes, with making false returns of income in respect to the years 1920 and 1921. An adjour nn k ‘lit sine die was granted.
