WEALTH HIDDEN IN A SHACK. Auckland, Sept. 22. An elderly man, named John Salver, who died in Auckland hospital, left iv note addressed to the Public Trustee, which read: “Remove the fifth plank in partition.” An inspection of the old man’s shack disclosed behind the lining boards, bank notes £lOO, shares and certificates about £lOOO, and documents showing two months ago that he was worth £4OOO, which he left to relations' and friends in England.
