THE DRIFTING KISO MARU.
Sydney, Sept. 21. A distress wireless was received at Adelaide from the Japanese steamer Ki so Maru, stating that she had broken a propellor shaft 300 miles north-east of Singapore. The steamer Atsuta Maru picked up the message and is hurry to the assistance. [The Kiso Maru is a steel screw’ steamer of 4066 tons gross, built in 1890 for the Tokio Kaiun Kabusheki Kaisha. She is a vessel of the following dimensions:—Length 345 ft., beam 50ft., depth 26.6ft.]
