INTER-ALLIED DEBTS.

TO BE DISCUSSED BY LEAGUE. London, Sept. 20. The Exchange Telegraph Cumpanj’s Geneva correspondent reports that France has consented that the League should examine and discuss all questions relating io inter-Ailied debts and reparations. Ihe French delegate, in agreeing with the League's discussion of reparations, declared that the discussion was necessary for the maintenance of peace and the economic restoration of Europe. The proposal, to which the French agreed, was made by Lord Robert Cecil. It provides that all questions of inter-Ailied debts and reparations shall be examined by the League. The question will be deferred for a period to enable France to communicate with the Allies.—(A. and N.Z.)
